Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, please provide at least 2 business days' notice to avoid incurring the full session fee, as short notice limits our ability to fill appointments. We encourage you to book only when you’re confident you can attend. Appointment reminders are sent before your appointment as a courtesy.
Is Christian counselling required?
Not at all. While Gabrielle provides counselling with a Christian worldview for those who request it, she works with people of all faiths (or none). Your personal values and needs always lead the way in our work together.
What should I expect at my first session?
The first appointment is primarily dedicated to developing an understanding of the difficulties you are experiencing and developing a collaborative plan on how to address those difficulties in therapy.
Are online sessions private?
Absolutely! Confidentiality is highly prioritised. Gabrielle provides sessions using secure platforms and strictly follows privacy protocols to ensure your information remains safe and your session is protected. Information about the limits of confidentiality will be discussed in your first session. If you have any questions regarding confidentiality or privacy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
